Ekotrope’s Codified Mission and Vision Statements

2021 has been quite the year to say the least, but let’s not forget all of the good that has come from 2021, both on the world scale as well as within the residential energy efficiency industry. In the first 6 months over 150,000 energy efficient homes were built and rated through RESNET, Ekotrope eclipsed over 500,000 total submitted ratings, and we participated in the first ever virtual RESNET conference.

In light of these achievements as well as the hurdles we’ve had to overcome, the Ekotrope team spent some time rethinking our place in the industry. For years we have strived to make energy efficiency easy by providing the #1 HERS rated tool in the country, and beyond that we have helped utility programs bolster their program participation rates; aided mortgage institutions such as Fannie Mae in innovating green finance with the Single Family Green MBS; and launched new solutions for green building product manufacturers that aim to connect builders and raters to energy efficient products that will improve the overall quality of their projects.

With all of these new initiatives, the Ekotrope team felt that it was important to ensure we align ourselves with a clear direction for Ekotrope as we continue to grow and expand. In order to best serve you, our trusted clients, we must have a clear understanding of what it is that we want to achieve and create a roadmap for doing such.

With that being said, the Ekotrope Mission and Vision are as follows:

Vision:

A sustainable future where energy and environmental factors impact every decision made in our built environment.

Mission:

Create awesome products that provide actionable energy and environmental data to all stakeholders. Our products support:

·        Faster and easier decisions

·        Data-driven insights and targeted marketing

·        Novel, advanced, and efficient workflows

·        High customer satisfaction

CEO of Ekotrope, Ziv Rozenblum says that, “This update to our core mission and vision statement was an extraordinarily important step in achieving the goals we’ve set for ourselves. Both as a company and as individuals, Ekotrope holds itself accountable in empowering our industry and giving them the best actionable view into their business processes. In developing our new mission statement, we adhere to the needs of our customers, partners, and, most importantly, the environment around us. For us, it is not a matter of choice but rather a responsibility to use the power of our technology to create a sustainable future for us and for our kids.”
