Q3 Utility Programs Update

Fall is officially upon us and it’s been a busy few months at Ekotrope. Below you will find updates around what we have been working on behind the scenes in order to optimize usage of Ekotrope for our utility partners as well as general updates to the broader tool. We’re looking forward to working with each of our partners through the rest of the year!

Program Updates:

Duke No Slab Edge Insulation Reference Home

This past quarter the team worked hard to build out a new reference home for the Duke programs that had no slab edge insulation. The Duke team came to Ekotrope with the dilemma that they were losing out on homes that could be a part of the program because they lacked slab edge insulation. In an innovative effort, the Duke team came up with a new incentive structure specifically for homes that were built without slab edge insulation, which opened the door to more homes to be able to apply to the program for incentives. The Ekotrope engineers were able to complete this work in a speedy fashion, which expedited the opportunities for raters and builders in the Duke territory.

General Ekotrope Updates:

Throughout the course of the quarter Ekotrope did some general product updates as well. The most exciting update, that most of you have probably noticed at this point, is the addition of the new support functionality.

Right below the batch actions you’ll see the support button. Select that and a new support pop-up will appear on the right side of the screen.

From here, you can search through all of the Ekotrope support articles by using keywords.

Ekotrope RATER's support pop up with "utility" typed into the search bar.

Once you find an article that looks like what you’re looking for, you can read through it directly in that pop up, or you can open the article in a separate tab.

As always, you can reach out directly to your account manager for anything not covered in the articles available, or reach out to support@ekotrope.com. We’re looking forward to what the rest of the year has in store!
